I'm lazy to convert them. the collage is made from picasa which could read the RAW files. so there. the collage pretty much sums up everything that day. It was Bren and Jx's last day with us in bangkok. Jx.. errr, we combed (almost) the entire Giant supermarket in Big C. The outcome? - 2 big cartons of goodies (protected with layers of *cushions*). hahaha. The time is terribly short on the 3rd day. After conquering the supermarket, the famished 4 went baiyoke sky to conquer the food. Buffet at 70+ storey!! Was a nice experience. the food are ok-ok but the variety is good! Mickey mouse march (duno wat variation) i remembered. I especially remembered the time when I was locked in the hotel staircase at night (nottie ys), ran all the way down and was relieved to find an unlocked door at level 6 (which happened to be a restaurant)! Silly me thought I had to spend the night at the staircase! Jumped ard people's bed like the inflated castles in children fun fairs. 1998 aussie band tour - It was my virgin flight to brisbane. Toured around the various themeparks after performing there. Did some stupid dance on a street. Took a pretends-to-be-terrified-by-a-killer-bear photo. Don't worry, it is not gonna be bangkok again. I always thought my next travel destination will be in japan. But now I doubt so because any discussions on it will just stop short. I am considering ah bren's plan to go cambodia/vietnam but I am a little sick of visiting the asian countries (japan not included). Australia seems exciting too!! Especially after I read the Today paper in the afternoon.. i wanna learn surfing and hug the koala bears so much right now!! haha. This time, i revisited the place with my bf, met up with bren and jx at the ctc, and stayed there for 7 days!! :D minus the dusty and rainy part, it is the slow and relaxing kinda holiday i wanted. i'm pretty satisfied. more descriptions are tagged to the photos. + + + + + + + ahh, i forgot to mention our dinner experience!! haha, dinner was shabu shabu buffet at mbk. it was ard 260 baht and we were given 1hr 15mins to complete our meal. the raw food and served to us via a conveyor belt, similar to the likes of a sushi bar. with me and jx sitting nearer to the belt, we are practising our fast hands movements to get the cooked food and the food cooked. haha, even requested *special* (golden needle shrooms) from the staff.. twice! we cooked, ate, drank.. up to the very last min. achievement ok. *burps* http://stoneys.multiply.com/photos/album/47/BKK_Day_1 Mon, 26 May 2008 16:45:05 -0000 how i degenerate.. i was searching high and low for the warranty card (to no avail..).. :( the timing isn't just nice for the coming IT show lor. i need to get the tv fixed before i leave for bkk. in other words, i have 2 choices. find the warranty card or buy a cheap tv to put in my parent's room to tide them over this period. $_$ the warranty card must be lurking out there!!!! i just saw it about just 2 weeks ago.. In case some are wondering, all the pics, except one, were taken by my trusty old powershot A520 (lazy me use P mode most of the time..), not taken 40D. My 40D pictures... sux. haha.. In case some of you are wondering again, my FF bought a 40D recently (but i took it home that night :x). it was hot. (did i repeat?) but i did enjoy the sight of blue skies, birds keeping cool in the drain, a short sheltered walk under the expressway, and watching a remote car show on a mini 'terrain'. oh, the remote car pic is taken by 40D. From the satelite images, I'm managed to sift out which are the <s>diediemustgo shopping malls</s> famous buildings in the Pratunam area.. Was distracted and spent sometime understanding the geographical information. Good for gauging walking distance.
